Progress continues at the Glowing Star project, our 10-story residential development in Kalabria, Prishtina, with the installation of a key component in the building’s electrical safety infrastructure—the earthing (grounding) system.

As part of this phase, 1.5-meter galvanized steel earthing rods are being carefully installed around the foundation perimeter. These rods are driven vertically into the compacted subsoil and securely connected to the main equipotential grounding network, forming the backbone of the building’s protection against electrical faults and lightning strikes.

This system is critical for ensuring:

• Safe dissipation of fault and lightning currents into the earth
• A low-resistance path to ground, reducing the risk of electric shock
• A continuous and maintainable grounding network, integrated into the entire electrical system
• Full compliance with international standards for electrical safety and lightning protection

Every aspect of the installation from rod positioning to secure connections is being carried out with precision to guarantee the long-term reliability and safety of the system.
